The Role of the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Council

The Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Council is a non-profit affiliation of managers, technicians, investigators, consultants and professionals.  Its position is to promote consciousness, training and certification within the discipline of Indoor Air Quality. Institutions and/or professionals  who want to be certified by the IAQ goes via a sequence of complete exams.  IAQ additionally requires its candidates to have intensive area expertise of up to eight years depending on the designation.

Upon application, Council members verify documentation by cellphone or affidavit.  The certification board members give ample time to evaluation each application whereas remaining objective and independent of coaching organizations or different financial interests.  They also maintain detailed records of verification in case of a subpoena.  IAQ is hard on its requirements to make sure that solely these worthy of it pass.
